Transfer consignment fees

In order for us to process your paperwork for buying a handgun in MD.

You must complete a E77R prior to arriving at the shop. mdsp.md.gov

You will also need to fill out a 4473 (federal transaction record)

To complete an over the counter long gun transfer The Buyer or transferee must complete form 4473 on site or at a qualified gun show.

Talbot arms will then perform a background check with NICS.                                 (National Instant Criminal Background Check System) 

Once we receive a proceed response from NICS we will transfer the firearm to you.

Talbot Arms will consign firearms for for sale at gun shows or online . our fee is 20% of pre tax sales. Plus any shipping/packing fees incurred for online sales.

Talbot Arms will store firearms for persons prohibited from possesing weapons until either 2nd amendment rights are restored or an agreement has been made to sell or transfer firearms to another eligable person. (Consignment policy)

Fees include $25 per firearm for processing and researching value. And a $100 per month Safe storage fee every month until arrangements have been made to sell or transfer.
